Electric Bikes and Electric Scooters

The converted electric mountain bike was spotted being ridden along Arundel Drive this afternoon, the rider made the sensible decision to stop when requested to do so by Police.

The safety of these modified bikes is concerning and thankfully this is another one off the road.

Road Safety continues to be a top priority for Wyre Neighbourhood Policing Team with E-bikes and E-scooters raised as a big concern by members of our local community, and we will continue to tackle these concerns.
